News about the Electoral Commission flood the newspapers as we are told by the Chronicle that the Electoral commission( EC) Director of Public Affairs Christian Owusu Parry has explained that EC would not use the new biometric voters' registration for the upcoming Wulensi bye-elections scheduled for July 31,2012,because it has not finished with the compilation of the register. Speaking at a one day capacity building workshop for political parties in Central Region, on Wednesday ,Owusu Parry disclosed that EC has to correct all multiple registration, which he said a committee has been set up for that purpose. He added that the register would then be certified by some legal personnel before exhibition of the register.
