Vice President Amissah-Arthur urges people in Brong-Ahafo Region to vote for NDC

Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has urged the people of Brong-Ahafo Region to vote massively for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on December 7 to achieve its 'one-touch' victory.

He said it is only when the party is retained in power that it would continue with initiated projects for the people in the Region and achieve the 'Better Ghana Agenda'.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur made the call when addressing members of Youth for John Mahama (YFM) Fan Club in Sunyani.

He told the youth to avoid intemperate language in propagating the ideals and vision of the party, despite any confrontation from their opponents.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur said the Region had witnessed some infrastructure developmentsunder the leadership of the late President John Evans Atta Mills and gave the assurance that President Mahama and his team would continue during the second term.

Mrs Cecilia Johnson, Member of the Council of State, said since the growth of any nation depended on its youth, the NDC government would ensure that the youth were given the requisite training to contribute to the nation's socio-economic development.

She commended members of the club and urged them to join the campaign for more votes to ensure President Mahama is retained in power.

Mrs Johnson said even though there were indications that Ghanaians would retain the NDC in power on December 7, there was the need for activists, supporters and sympathisers of the party not to be complacent but intensify the campaign in their communities.

Mr Kwadwo Nyamekye-Marfo, Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister and the candidate for Sunyani West, appealed to the youth not to succumb to any intimidation from their opponents.
