Youth urged to exercise restraint and tolerance in December polls.

The Ghana Evangelism Committee in Tarkwa has called on the youth to exercise restraint and tolerance and avoid all forms of temptations to foment trouble.

This was contained in a communiqué issued after their Prayer for Peace.
The committee is made up of diocesan and area heads, district ministers, bishops, pastors, church elders and lay leaders.

The communiqué said the various political parties should be prepared to accept the final outcome of the election results as it is God who makes kings and government.

It said parties on their campaign platforms should stick to their manifesto and avoid unnecessary criticisms and insults and urged everyone to begin talking about peace with each other.
The prayer for peace program brought together officials of the electoral commission, police and the clergy.
