Abu Sakara chooses traditional leader as running mate

The presidential candidate of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Dr. Abu Sakara Foster, has chosen a female traditional leader as his running mate, reliable sources told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Accra on Thursday. The sources said Dr Foster has presented Nana Frimponmaa of the Dormaa Traditional area in the Brong Ahafo Region to the Central Committee of the Party, which is meeting in Accra, as his running mate. Nana Frimponmaa is the daughter of one-time organizer of the CPP, Mr Sarpong Kumankumah.
