Volunteers for Mahama to campaign message into communities

Volta Regional branch of Volunteers for Mahama (VFM) was on Wednesday launched in Ho with a call on the volunteers to take the campaign into communities.

VFM is a vibrant advocacy group focused on ensuring a one-time victory for President John Dramani Mahama in the December Polls.
The launch attracted hundreds of National Democratic Congress (NDC) members and sympathizers and saw the inauguration of regional coordinators for the group.

Mr Mawutor Agbavitor, National Volunteer Coordinator of VFM, charged the volunteers and coordinators to move into communities to "win souls" for President Mahama.

"You must move fast into the communities and inform our people that Ghana cannot survive on free, free things," he said.

Mr Agbavitor described President Mahama as a humble and trust worthy person who possesses leadership qualities the country needed now to transform its fortunes.

"Go and tell the people, President Mahama is the only person to bring a 'better Ghana' to their doorsteps. Let them know he is the right man for the time and for the job," he said.

Mr Charles Nkansah, National Director of Operations of VFM, asked the volunteers and coordinators to be "multi-task" oriented in view of the limited time at hand.

He said the main objective of the Group was to ensure one-time victory and charged them to work very hard and eschew complacency.

Mr Nkansah urged the volunteers to go to schools and markets to campaign for President Mahama.
